•A ban will not stop or limit cannabis from being consumed in Nebraska. Prohibition has never done that.
•A ban will send cannabis sales back to the black market where there are no guidelines and law enforcement can’t reach.
•A black market is bad for consumers. And a ban will destroy their freedom of choice and turn them into criminals overnight.
•A ban will take millions in tax revenue out of the coffers, when we are already underwater by $400 million.
•A ban will hurt Nebraska businesses and the businesses that support them.
•A ban is not small government. It is gov overreach, nanny state, etc.
•Do what you did with kratom and regulate hemp sales with LB16.

LB 316 – A bill to BAN Hemp – G&G is AGAINST LB 316 that works to make most hemp products illegal.
LB16 – A bill to tax & regulate Hemp – G&G SUPPORTS LB16 that will add restrictions we agree with (like age requirements), & taxes that provide economic protections to the hemp industry.
